AI for every life

Why this site exists — the four rungs from a first prompt to a company of your own, how I'll test everything in the open, and what I won't do.

The ladderRung 1 of 4 · Learn AI

  1. Learn
  2. Use
  3. Earn
  4. Build

For most of history, expert help has been expensive. A tutor for your child. A designer for your shop. Someone to check a contract, build a spreadsheet, write the website, answer the phone. Help like that costs money, so most people went without it.

AI is the first technology that makes a good share of that help almost free — and it is already in the phone in your pocket. That is the opportunity of our lifetime. The risk is that it arrives the way most opportunities do: first, and mostly, for the people who were already ahead.

I'd like to close that gap. This site is how.

Who this is for#

Anyone who wants to use AI to get a better job, do their current one in less time, or build something of their own. You don't need to code. You don't need to understand how the models work inside. You need a phone or a laptop, some time each day, and the habit of checking the work.

Four rungs#

Everything here hangs on a ladder with four rungs.

  1. Learn it. From your first prompt to a daily habit — and the checks that keep AI honest.
  2. Use it. On your real work, every week, until it gives you hours back.
  3. Earn with it. Turn what you can now do into a job, a raise or a first client.
  4. Build with it. A company of your own, where AI agents do real work and you keep the parts only a person can do.

Find the rung you're on and take the next step. Then the one after.

Tested in the open#

I'm borrowing a method from Tim Ferriss: try things on yourself, talk to the people who are best at them, and write down exactly what works. Here that means three things.

  • Experiments — AI tested on my own work and my own companies, with the tools, the prompts, the costs, the results and the failures.
  • Conversations — people who got hired, promoted or built a business with AI, taken apart step by step so you can borrow their path.
  • Playbooks — the free, step-by-step version of all of it, one for every rung.

The best of it will become a book, written here one rung at a time.

What I won't do#

I won't promise you income; real cases show what is possible, not what is guaranteed. I won't recommend a tool because it's new. I won't publish a number without its source. And I won't hide my stakes: I run RDMI, an agentic AI company, and its free training, RDMI AI Workforce. When a post touches either, it says so at the top.

Why it matters#

The best teaching method we know — one-to-one tutoring — was never a mystery, only a cost. The same is true of a lot of expert help. AI is making it cheap. Whether that reaches every life depends on whether people learn to use it.

That part is up to us. Let's start on the first rung.

Climb along

Follow along, free.

New experiments with real numbers, conversations with people who climbed, and playbooks you can use the same day. Read them in any feed reader, or follow wherever you already are.
